Gemuruh ombak yang terdengar di kejauhan memperkuat suasana hening yang sudah kurasakan selama 10 menit terakhir.
Puncak bukit tempat aku berdiri sebelumnya terlihat samar dibalik rimbunnya daun pepohonan yang telah memberikan alasan pada malaikat maut agar tidak mendatangiku.

Lima puluh meter, jarak yang cukup jauh untuk didaki, apalagi dengan kondisiku saat ini.
Menahan sakit yang terasa di sekujur tubuhku, aku berusaha menyandarkan diri pada sebatang pohon yang membungkus mata air kecil.
Setelah membersihkan luka yang terbuka di mata air itu dan melihat aliran air yang menjadi keruh kembali ke keadaan jernih, aku mencoba meminumnya.
Rasa segar yang melewati tenggorokanku segera ditutup dengan sakit kepala yang dahsyat.
Entah karena terbentur dahan pohon atau ada sesuatu di dalam air ini, aku perlahan-lahan kehilangan kesadaran.

Seluruh tubuhku kaku, rambutku berubah hijau, kulitku menjadi keras.

Entah sampai kapan aku akan berada di sini.

The story tells about a broken robot that trashed to island where Independent Rhythm main story, first chapter, taken. A island where no modern technology can operate.

Even though no modern technology can operate, somehow this robot can operated itself. And while the story rolls, the robot gradually have its own consciousness.

Taking view of this robot, player will uncover why this robot can operate while another type of technology can’t.

Partying with another youkai that inhabits the island, the robot get its name, Kan! a can that have its own life.
